At MNEXT, we focus on the development and optimization of biofuels to accelerate the energy transition. We investigate innovative production processes, such as the use of second-generation biofuels, which are made from residual flows and waste materials, thereby limiting the impact on food production and biodiversity. In addition, we look at the use of biofuels in sectors where electrification is difficult to achieve, such as aviation and shipping. Our practice-oriented research contributes to the development of more efficient and sustainable biofuel chains.
Contributions from organizations
Companies and governments can play a crucial role in the scaling up of biofuels by collaborating with MNEXT in research projects and innovative pilots. Organizations can not only reduce their ecological footprint by switching to biofuels, but also contribute to the development of new technologies. Through our collaboration with industry partners, we offer opportunities to share knowledge and implement biofuel technologies in daily business operations.
